Steve Dom Rocha

Director


Br Steve Rocha is a child rights advocate who has been engaged in this field since 1990. He is the Founder Director of PRATYeK, an organisation that visions every child being trained to advocate for every right for everyone. He is also the National Convener and founder of the ‘NINEISMINE’ campaign, an initiative of, for and by the children to advocate for appropriate public investment in children. Steve is the Asia level Advocacy Coordinator for Edmund Rice International based in Geneva. He has facilitated child-led interactions with policymakers and leaders at village, state, national and international levels including the United Nations in Geneva and New York.

Iris Frederick

Human Resource Manager and Administrator


Iris has worked as PGT Commerce for more than 30 years of which the last five years was as Administrator of the senior section. She has been involved in policy making, curricular and extra-curricular planning, designing the timetable, syllabus and content up-gradation with NCERT, career counselling, partnering with the various stakeholders. She has also compiled a book on value education for the senior students.
She retired from St. Columba’s School in June 2017 and since then has been working in PRATYeK as it’s Human Resource Manager cum Administrator.  She holds a Masters in Commerce, Bachelors in Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Business Finance from Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda.

Yogita Gola

DICP Coordinator


Yogita Gola associates with PRATYeK since 2015. She has completed her post-graduation in Commerce. She takes care of the YASH program in PRATYeK. She is a committed individual and works for the betterment of the kids and their community through community engagement program. She also maintains our network with our partner NGOs in Delhi.

Anisha George

Assistant Programs Coordinator (Internationality)


Anisha George is associated with PRATYeK since 2017 and is working as a Program Coordinator – International Projects. She holds a post graduate degree in Political Science and Bachelors in Education. Anisha has been trained in child rights and qualified as a teacher who is keen in promoting child-led advocacy. She has successfully completed a course on Human Rights and Advocacy from the Edmund Rice International (ERI), Geneva in 2019. Anisha is proactive in advocating all Global Goals and Earth Rights.

Vedant

Media and Communications Manager


Vedant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass communication. As a student, he was an enthusiastic writer and a storyteller.
He also has a keen interest in photography and loves to travel.

Violet Mary

Advocacy Coordinator


Violet has done her graduation in Political Science from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. After this, she pursued her Masters in Public Policy from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai University. She has keen interests in research and writing. She works in the advocacy area of PRATYeK and helps children to advocate for themselves.

Sugandha Dewan

Counselor


Suagndha has completed her Msc in Counseling Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore. She holds certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming &3 levels of Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy from EKAA( formally California Hypnosis Institute of India). She has over
250 hours of supervised therapy experience with children, adolescents, parents and the elderly on emotional and behavioural issues, as well as severe mental health difficulties such as ( Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Learning Disabilities).
She has also worked on research projects including Procrastination in Emerging Adults and Parenting practices of Transgenders in India.

Aditi Salkar

Consultant Psychotherapist


She has done her graduation in psychology and diploma in psychotherapy. She is also NLP trainer and an advanced REBT practitioner. She has an experience of working as a Psychotherapist for 4 years where she’s dealt with clients suffering from depression, anxiety disorder, children with learning disability etc. She started her career with articleship in Masina Hospital as a consultant psychotherapist. Currently, she’s associated as a consultant with PRATYeK – an NGO that works on Child Rights, The Healing Dove Foundation – a NGO that works on juvenile rehabilitation, CINTAA – an organization that works for TV and cine artists welfare. She also runs a Student well-being cell in Shri Harshad C Valia International School, Andheri. Apart from this, she runs a page called Speak the Unspoken on Facebook and Instagram. Speak the Unspoken is a platform for mental health awareness through the expression of different real-life stories.
